Dr. Nava Michael-Tsabari
Doctor Nava Michael-Tsabari is the director of the Raya Strauss Center for Family Business Research at The School of Management, Tel Aviv University. Nava received a Ph.D. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and has a BA and MBA from Tel Aviv University, both Magna Cum Laude. Nava is a researcher and an educator on the subject of family businesses.
Since 2009 she teaches the first and only course to owning families at Lahav, The School of Management, Tel Aviv University. She is an acknowledged speaker on family firms in Israel and abroad to academic and professional audiences as well as to families. Nava is also a 3rd generation of the industrial Strauss family. She worked in the group and served on the board of directors of its publicly traded company.
Nava published several papers and received academic awards, among them the 2012 FFI Best Unpublished Paper and the 2014 Best Article of the Family Business Review.

Prof. Dan Weiss
Professor Dan Weiss is a faculty member at The School of Management, Tel Aviv University. Dan joined Tel Aviv University in 2003 from the University of California at Davis. Dan received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University and is a certified public accountant. Dan worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and was co-founder and managing partner of OIC Technologies Group for 10 years. He is a director at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and served on the boards of Israeli and dual-listed companies.
Through his research, teaching and consulting, Dan has developed novel performance and cost measurement systems and an innovative methodology for sound succession in founding-family owned businesses. He is an Editor of Journal of Management Accounting Research. He is a frequent presenter to both families and senior executives
